Worked as in-house UI-UX Front-End Developer, UI Designer, and Webmaster for this small B2C startup. Designed and developed fast loading, cross-browser tested, W3C-compliant web pages and UI components. Worked with CSS, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, JSP / J2EE, Velocity. On Marketing, Product Management and Engineering teams. Also, worked with company founder, VP of Marketing, and VP of Engineering to define specs and requirements.
• Hand-coded and designed JSPs inside J2EE stack; conceived and coded CSS of flagship website.
• Globally re-factored legacy style sheets, improved site performance and sitewide SEO.
• Prototyped and built corporate messaging and branding from scratch. Deployed content to market-specific landing pages and SERPs.
• Working with VP of Marketing, created and deployed niche-oriented, optimized site branding layered with geo-centric B2C messaging.
• Dynamically integrated Velocity calls with the company’s Java tag library system. Delivered messaging innovations and complete overhaul of web UI.
• Modularized code and images to streamline content delivery; maximized site performance.
• Built wireframes for review by Product Management and Marketing. Mocked up look-and-feel of numerous web pages. Converted PSDs to code.
• Coded, thoroughly tested, and posted cross-browser optimized JSP pages & Java Tag files.
• Designed ad banners, both static and animated (Flash, PhotoShop, Illustrator).
• Configured and presented detailed, mission-critical analytics reports to executive level of company.
