I worked an extended contract at DemandTec Inc. as a Digital Marketing Manager and Strategist, SEO & SEM Content Developer, Paid Ads Campaign Manager, and Marketing Automation Analyst. I reported directly to the VP of Marketing and Marketing Director. During my tenure at DemandTec, I achieved the following results:

As the lead SEM analyst and digital marketing manager on the inhouse marketing team, my market research, competitive intelligence, and data insights helped to capture new audiences, expand user awareness of the brand, as well as increase customer awareness and engagment on the corporate website. This, coupled with my data-driven messaging and content improvements to paid ad accounts, to corporate web pages and to omnichannel campaigns, lifted performance and rankings of the corporate website, and led to greater visibility and discoverability of the DemandTec brand. This company was, several weeks after my contract was completed here, recognized and purchased by IBM for $470MM.
– I was responsible for tracking data and implementing organic search improvements to the main corporate website. I coded and deployed thousands of SEO fixes, and architected and deployed content for the flagship corporate website. I increased the number of web visits, unique visitors, and page views by over 50%.
– I was in charge of Google paid ads campaigns, regularly posted ad copy and bidding optimizations to Google Adwords accounts, tracked, managed, and maximized ROI and results of email marketing campaigns using Marketo.
– I managed automated email campaigns in Marketo, introduced automation and time and money saving workflow innovations for the 5-person digital marketing team.
– I performed social listening and monitoring tasks, coded live social media feeds from Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and implemented feeds into blogs and the flagship website.
– I improved the UI-UX of foreign language sites, blogs, and microsites.
– I completed over 150 project tasks in 6 months as Lead SEO Analyst and Content Producer.
– I worked with Liferay CMS, JQuery, Ajax, custom APIs, MySQL, J2EE / Java, and Eclipse.
– I optimized all site content and messaging for mobile users.

My job also involved working on the User Interface and User Experience, coding HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, and SEO. I also served as the inhouse WordPress Sys Admin. Additionally, I posted Mobile Responsive, SEO-friendly content, performed ad copywriting and editing, and coded website pages.

As part of my content production tasks, I completed many video editing jobs using Adobe Creative Suite, including Flash, Premiere, and Prism. These videos were then integrated into web content and into omnichannel campaigns.

I edited and reformatted raw video taken off HD cameras, added transitions, effects, and custom titles, and produced finished clips for corporate websites. I extracted video clips from FLVs and customized them for best replay on a variety of devices. I also customized video flowplayer, JavaScripts, and HTML embed codes, displayed flash movies across browsers according to a precise visual spec, hand-coded and deployed rich content and video, and implemented a user-customizable lightbox using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
