Website Manager, Web Developer, Designer & Marketing Producer – Stanford University

I worked as an in-house Website Manager, Marketing Strategist, and Drupal CMS Developer, at Stanford University. I was responsible for designing, planning, and implementing improvements to the website User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) and served as an in-house Drupal System Administrator. My supervisors were the Chairman of Sociology Department and the in-house Project Managers.

During my tenure, I performed integrated marketing & content strategy tasks that required expertise in cross-channel program execution (Web, Email, Social, Print). I focused on developing audience-centric content and managing brand consistency to amplify academic research and institutional messaging.

Exercising digital communications & design fluency, my everyday tasks included website maintenance (Drupal/CMS), launching and managing media, with strong skills in writing, editing, and utilizing digital design tools for light design/layout (e.g., newsletters, image editing).

My project management & strategic execution included process-driven, detail-oriented tasks, with an expertise in managing ambiguity and building initiatives from the ground up. I was adept at setting high-level communications goals and coordinating cross-functional university/partner teams, including communications with a partner team at Harvard University, to meet strict project deadlines.

My tasks on this project included custom API development and coding PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. I built an API that allowed non-technical users at Stanford and Harvard University to post content to multiple URLs with a single upload. I optimized the user experience and streamlined page load speeds while correcting legacy coding errors. Additionally, I built a custom JavaScript-based menu system and globally performed all content writing and editing, in addition to performing regular systems admin tasks in Drupal, regular SQL edits, data modeling, database maintenance and implementations using SQL and PHPMyAdmin.
