Website Manager, Front End Engineer & Content Producer – Genworth Inc.
At LiveWorld Inc., – I worked as Full Time Website Manager, Front End Engineer and Content Producer. One of our main FinTech clients was Genworth.
On Genworth Financial B2C Social Forum, I implemented many code changes inside a complex J2EE stack. Working closely with a cross-functional team of designers and back end developers, I skinned the front end of various social media components on the Genworth website. Overall, this made for a much friendlier UI-UX and helped enable increased user time on site.
I hand coded JavaScript, HTML, CSS, inline Java, on top of a Jive / Webwork framework. I reported to a Project Manager, as well as the VP and Director of Engineering, as part of the Genworth / FinTech development team.
